St. Catharines Public Library creates an Express Library with NovelBranch and Holds Pickup Lockers in Community Centre

St. Catharines is becoming the latest home for NovelBranch where it will be joined by our Holds Pick Up Locker solution providing a multi-faceted self-service Express Library experience for users of the Seymour-Hannah Sports and Entertainment Centre. The Centre is a popular location with families with its four hockey rinks. Open year round it also hosts administration offices for the city’s Recreation and Culture Services. The kiosks will provide a welcome opportunity for families to borrow and return materials while visiting the Centre, providing an easy way to keep kids reading while waiting for siblings to finish on the ice; and for busy parents who can reserve a bestseller title online, but never seem to get an opportunity to get into a branch to pick up. Now they can do that at the Centre. The first implementation of both Kiosks together in the Niagara region, St. Catharines Public Library is showing leadership in outreach to its community, engaging residents and taking a sampling of the Library’s services into the spaces they frequent.
