Surrey PL increases investment in PC time management
Surrey Public Library has expanded its PC session time management system. Several branches in this large multi-branch library system are rolling out more Internet workstations to meet the ever increasing patron demand. Surrey’s population over the last five years has increased by 18 percent, a rate three times faster than the national average, and now totals nearly half a million people. Certain communities within the city are truly booming, with growth statistics of over 239 percent. The Library has been working hard to meet the corollary increase in demand and recently opened the doors on their new City Centre Branch.
