A senior IT Manager at The Halifax International Airport Authority recognized there was a need for families to have access to library materials. A partnership was forged with Halifax Public Library who then reach out to us to help implement two NovelBranch kiosks at the airport.
St. Thomas – Wellington Mall
When the public library was undergoing renovations, services were moved to a nearby shopping mall. After renovations were completed, many who had gotten used to accessing the Library at the mall, in some cases for the first time, missed it. The Library partnered with us to implement a Holds pick-up kiosk to help address this need.
Hamilton Community Centre
The library branch located at the community centre is only open a limited number of hours through the week. This community wanted more, but increasing branch hours wasn’t possible. To extend services to patrons beyond these hours, giving them access to browse, borrow and return items, the Library turned to NovelBranch as a solution.
