We also know that having these kiosks… will remind me people of the breadth of what we offer through the Library free of charge.

Projects

We’ve been privileged to work with all types of libraries, from public to academic to special, helping them solve problems with technology solutions.

HIAA

A senior IT Manager at The Halifax International Airport Authority recognized there was a need for families to have access to library materials. A partnership was forged with Halifax Public Library who then reach out to us to help implement two NovelBranch kiosks at the airport.

Western University

When Western University’s newly renovated D.B. Weldon Library was unveiled it included KingstonShelves, our innovative RFID enabled book trolley designed to allow students to “drop” their high demand Course Reserve items “and go”, and have them checked in automatically becoming immediately available for the next student to take.

Hamilton Community Centre

The library branch located at the community centre is only open a limited number of hours through the week. This community wanted more, but increasing branch hours wasn’t possible. To extend services to patrons beyond these hours, giving them access to browse, borrow and return items, the Library turned to NovelBranch as a solution.
